I recall former times & places;
Island town officials heap laws;
River city merchants heap cash.
Here, clouds hide the East mountains;
Late snow falls, mountain snow.
Early geese delay their northern journey.
Soft waves caress the stony shore.
Drink tea,
& watch the early moon.
